Are you planning a trip to Fort Worth, Texas? With so many incredible things to do and see, it can be overwhelming to decide what to add to your itinerary. As someone who went to college in Fort Worth and visits frequently, I'm excited to share my top 5 favorite coffee shops in the city. In recent years, Fort Worth has really stepped up its coffee game and I'm thrilled to see the selection of coffee shops available now. My go-to spot for years has been Ascension Coffee in Dallas. I always joked that when Fort Worth had its own Ascension, I would consider moving there.
Well, the time has come! Ascension opened its doors at the West Bend outdoor mall and it's even better than I imagined. The espresso and coffee here are top-notch and they only use beans with a score higher than 84 according to the American Specialty Coffee Association. My favorite drinks are the cold flat white or Doki Doki (a Kyoto-style cold brewing method). They also have a full cafeteria menu with brunch and lunch options, plus pastries from the local Black Rooster Bakery. Another great spot is Crude Craft Coffee Bar.
Their homemade pies are amazing and they have several beverages on tap like draught latte, kombucha, milk chocolate, chai and more. Plus, they have some keg options made with alternatives to milk like oat milk.
Race Street Coffee
is another must-visit spot in the historic Riverside neighborhood. They take their coffee seriously and source high-quality, ethically sourced beans. If you're looking for something more family-friendly, Fort Worth has plenty of barbecue and soul food restaurants. The Amon Carter Museum of American Art is also worth checking out - admission is free! And don't forget about the Fort Worth Water Gardens - it's a beautiful spot for a stroll. No matter what you're looking for, there's something for everyone in Fort Worth. From cozy cafes to hidden gems, these 13 best coffee shops are sure to satisfy your caffeine cravings. So grab a cup of joe and explore all that Cowtown has to offer! When it comes to deciding when is the best time to visit these cafes in Fort Worth, Texas, it really depends on what you're looking for.
